Finishing Touches
As the date of the opening of the Prince of Wales Island International School comes ever closer, it is wonderful to see the finishing touches being added to the School buildings and campus. A collection of images can be found in our

The football pitch is almost fully planted, and the landscaping is well under way, with many areas of the campus already in full bloom. We are in the process of completing both internal and external signage, and the exterior finish of the buildings is fresh and attractive.
The range of interior colours in the main building is bold and gives each floor a distinct character. Very shortly the classrooms and laboratories will be equipped with furniture and each will have an interactive whiteboard, due to be installed in the next two weeks.
The most important finishing touch, the influx of the teaching staff, is also underway. Their arrival in Balik Pulau not only increases the pace of change which will transform our school buildings into a school, but also signals the start of the community which will become POWIIS Penang.
