Book Week – KS2 classes met with Jo Simmons and EYFS & KS1 children met with author Freya Charlotte

What a fantastic opportunity to ‘virtually’ meet real and published authors! This week, KS2 classes met with Jo Simmons (author of I swapped My Brother on the Internet which was shortlisted for a funny book award in 2020). She discussed how she generates her ideas and challenged the children to create a title and/or plot for a future book. Maybe some of the children will go further and write the story too. EYFS and KS1 children met with author Freya Charlotte, who read her debut book Witches Don’t Wear Flip Flops.
