Book Week – Year 2 has been learning about the author Claire Freedman and exploring some of her popular books.

Over the course of Book week, Year 2 have been learning about the author Claire Freedman and exploring some of her popular books. First, they enjoyed the story ‘Spider Sandwiches’, featuring monster Max eating a range of unappetising food, which inspired Year 2 to design some of their own disgusting dishes. Next, they read the book “Superkid” about how any unsuspecting child in your class could be a Superkid! To prove this, Year 2 children have been creating their own superhero capes.
