COBIS Student Spotlight

POWIIS Residential Band and Yong Shuen Sho participated (virtually) at the COBIS Student Spotlight in March 2021. This event is open to all COBIS (Council of British International Schools) schools. POWIIS submitted two performance videos and both of the performances were selected to be featured at the upcoming COBIS Annual Conference in May 2021 together with all other talents around the world. Congratulations to the band and Yong Shuen!

POWIIS Residential Band performed an award-winning original composition by Matthew Joel Zi Hao Lee (Year 12) and Jocelyn Shi Han Lee (Year 11). The rest of the band members are Edric Kang Xuan Tea (Year 12), Luca Joe Evans (Year 11), Dylan Shi An Yeo (Year 11) and Nicholas Kai-Teng Low (Year 11). Yong Shuen presented the first movement from the Oboe Concerto by Domenico Cimarosa
