Congratulations to the LEO Club of POWIIS!

On Saturday, 22 August 2020, the LEO Club of POWIIS attained 9 awards at the 2019/20 District 308 B2 Region 1 LEO Club Awards. These awards were accorded to clubs from across Malaysia (Region 1), and Saturday’s presentation was dedicated to recipients in the Northern region. The event was held at Wisma Lim Chong Eu auditorium.

The awards we received include:

1. Region 1 Outstanding Club – LEO Club of POWIIS
2. Region 1 Outstanding President – Bernice Ooi
3. Region 1 Outstanding Project – Kindness to Environment and Methodist Boys School English Literacy Program (2 awards)- LEO Club of POWIIS
4. Region 1 Merit Secretary Award – Medeleine Tee
5. Region 1 Merit LEO Awards – Ao Tahara and Janice Yang
6. Top Alpha LEO Project Award – Kindness to Environment – LEO Club of POWIIS
7. District Governor’s Special Appreciation Award – Mr. Darren Lim, advisor for LEO Club of POWIIS

Congratulations to the LEO Club of POWIIS for winning the highest number of awards among LEO Clubs in the region for this fiscal year. Most importantly, thank you to all students and staff in the LEO Club for their service to the school and wider community every year.
