Creating A Rangoli Pattern

Synonymous with Deepavali celebrations, the students and staff of POWIIS worked in groups to create this Rangoli pattern using materials such as coloured rice, dry flour and coloured sand. Rangoli or Kolam as it is also known is normally located at the front of the house to welcome visitors and to bring good fortune.
