Curriculum: Learning Mandarin

Speaking a second language can improve a student’s creative thinking, pattern recognition, and problem-solving. Through a second language, young learners develop greater linguistic awareness and a deeper understanding of their native language.Learning Mandarin at POWIIS Primary is one of the ways we are preparing our students to take their place in the world. Our children are encouraged to be well-rounded thinkers, communicators, and thoughtful contributors to their local communities and the larger world.
