Early Years Learning during Covid-19

1 May 2020

Our children were inspired to create very special worry dolls after hearing the story of ‘Silly Billy’ by Anthony Browne.
—–
Worry dolls are small, hand-made dolls that originate from Guatemala. According to legend, children of all ages tell their worries to the worry doll, placing them under their pillow when they go to bed at night. In the morning, the child’s worries have gone.

It is our priority during these unusual times that our children maintain positive emotional well-being. Supporting our children in talking and understanding their feelings through the use of a worry doll is important to us.
