Earth day at POWIIS Primary!

The POWIIS community has been celebrating Earth Day this week. The children made Earth Day promises to take active steps to reduce their carbon footprint and sewed badges to spread the message.

We were delighted to officially open the plastic recycling bins with the Eco Warriors on Monday. To end off the week, our students enjoyed wearing green and blue items of clothing as a reminder of the importance of protecting our environment and planet.
