Following a successful debut in the FOBISIA Race4Good School League last November in which POWIIS etched itself into the race history as inaugural challenge winners, we are back this month with 18 mostly new racers developing new ideas to uplift families in Bung, Nepal.
We have competed in three mid-race challenges so far, while working on the final uplift project that will be judged this March 17. In the first two challenges, POWIIS attained second place and two valuable points for each challenge. However, our final challenge, a design task to create a tool to reduce smoke pollution inside the homes of firewood dependent families, was judged the winning project earning three points!
The judges loved our confident delivery, engaging presentation and adaptability of our idea to different home layouts. Here, we present to you the winning presentation from POWIIS. Well done, racers, and all the best for your final uplift project presentation!
