Learning about plants!

Year 2 has been busy learning about ‘Plants’ this term. The children have learnt about the different parts of a plant and the five things plants need in order to grow. The children have enjoyed planting seeds and watching them grow. They have also kept a ‘Seed Diary’ showing the process of germination. In addition to this, they have created artworks inspired by plants, including painting tulips and printing using leaves.
