Meet our Assistant Principal, Community and Events

Mr. Samuel Hodge has already been part of the POWIIS family for 3 years and is really excited to now be joining the leadership team as the Assistant Principal, Community and Events. Sam is really looking forward to bringing his wide experience of running extracurricular activities such as coordinating STEM events like Greenpower and Design Engineer Construct, to the students at POWIIS. Within his new role, he will be leading and building on the already highly successful events and activities that are run at the school. The vision will be to create progressive, meaningful programmes that build outdoor skills as well as service, giving students enormous benefits for wellness and academic resilience. One of the key areas that will be developed is embedding sustainable development goals and global citizenship. These opportunities encourage personal development and provide fantastic opportunities for emotional independence, physical challenge, and adventure.
