Meet our Assistant Principal, Teaching and Learning

Ms. Jennifer Blais will be joining POWIIS in August as Assistant Principal, Teaching and Learning. She is very much looking forward to getting to know all the staff, students, and families that make up the POWIIS community. In her Assistant Principal role, Jenn will be building on POWIIS’s strong educational foundations to ensure that students and staff are engaged in high-quality learning that drives both individual and school-wide progress. She will also be working closely with the Head of EAL to develop and implement strategies that will support EAL students both in and out of the classroom. Jenn is very excited about her move to Penang, having been introduced to its charms on short visits in the past. She currently lives in Thailand and works as an Assistant Principal at an international school in Rayong. In her free time, Jenn enjoys cooking, all things theatre/drama-related, and a whole variety of outdoor activities.
