Ms Farida Khan-Evans – Curriculum Leader (Arts)

Farida joined POWIIS in 2016 as Head of Art. In her new role as Curriculum Leader of the Arts, Farida will be focused on building upon the existing strengths of the arts faculty; namely music, art, drama and DT. Alongside her experienced team, Farida will be offering more opportunities for showcases, exhibitions and performances across the school curriculum, as well as working with cross curricular projects, house competitions and wider links within the community; all the while ensuring a rigorous approach to the quality of teaching and learning within the arts. Farida is very excited to be at the helm of a dynamic and creative department, with an on-going vision of a broader and inclusive student experience of the arts, here at POWIIS.
