POWIIS Primary CNY Assembly

11 February 2020

At our morning assembly on the 19th January, the Mandarin Department got the Chinese New Year celebrations underway. We were treated to storytelling, acting and even a mini lion dance! These performances explained the meaning of the lunar celebration to the audience and how the rat came to be the first zodiac animal of the cycle. It was a wonderful start of the week and we can’t wait for our main celebration on Thursday. Happy Lunar New Year! 新年快乐!
