Shelagh Deegan – Teacher of English (EAL) and Psychology, School Counsellor

Mrs Deegan grew up in Canada and studied French Literature and Translation at the University of Western Ontario. She has recently completed a British Psychological Society (BPS) approved MSc in Psychology at the University of Liverpool. Committed to lifelong learning, she is continuously developing her counselling portfolio. She has taught English, French and EAL in international schools in Kenya, the UK, Indonesia, South Korea, the UAE and Malaysia since 1997. She qualified as a yoga teacher in Rishikesh, India in 2014, with a Teen Yoga specialism. Shelagh is interested in sports and wellbeing, and has coached both boys and girls Volleyball to the senior level.
