Sunflower Growing Competition

In Term 1, as part of our From Farm to Fork topic, children in Year 3 were all given a pack of sunflower seeds and invited to take part in a sunflower growing competition. Children had to try and grow the tallest sunflower by February 10th. We are incredibly proud of all of the children who took part despite having to go through a lockdown. Every participant will receive a special certificate when we are back in school. The 3 winning sunflowers were 99cm (Chloe 3B), 120cm (Dwayne 3D) and 171cm tall (Ru Hong 3D). Well done to our winners!
