“Use less stuff” challenge for the Nursery children

In keeping with the “Use less stuff” theme, the Nursery children rose to the challenge and have been incredibly creative and actively busy making something new from old; recycling old cartons, tissue rolls and plastic cups to make a cosy den, a handprint playhouse, a rocket, a counting activity, musical instruments, a rainbow submarine. To extend the Nursery children’s understanding of recycling, they have been involved in making paper and experiencing the changes in its properties.
