Wet Market Excursion

Students in Year 6 visited the Tanjung Bungah wet market earlier today as part of their English lesson. They are currently working on writing recounts and these are generally much more powerful when the students have experienced what they are writing about. The children asked the shop owners questions about their produce, about the number of years their shop had been operating and what their busiest day of the week was and, of course, they were given the opportunity to purchase something.
