Writing Hut Problem of the Week (Roald Dahl Day)

The school celebrated Roald Dahl’s birthday on Monday 13th September. Throughout the day, the children wore a touch of yellow, completed special Dahl-inspired activities, and shared their favourite Roald Dahl books. Interestingly, Mr Sherwood’s favourite is Matilda, he even read an excerpt of the book at assembly last Friday! We also discovered an important aspect connecting Roald Dahl and POWIIS Primary- the importance placed on kindness.
