Year 5-6 Residential Trip 2020

Year 5 and Year 6 set off on their very first POWIIS Primary residential trip last Tuesday. We were all up bright and early for our ferry journey and grateful for the smooth journey across to the beautiful island of Langkawi. The trip was a great experience, packed with interesting team building activities. The children were given opportunities to develop a range of skills including communication, collaboration and perseverance. Highlights of the trip included the boat rides through the mangroves at Kilim Geoforest Park, the Amazing Race activity through the streets of Langkawi and the Year 5/6 Disco. Throughout the trip the children’s behaviour was exemplary, they were considerate and kind which made it an even more enjoyable experience
