Year 6 Preparing to Enter Year 7

The Year 6 children and their parents had an opportunity to hear from Mrs Hawtree, Principal of POWIIS, Deputy Principals Mrs Clarke and Mr Cambra and Head of Year 7, Ms Wijewardena, regarding what life in Year 7 is going to be like in terms of the curriculum, culture and environment. They also had a chance to listen to first hand experiences from our current Year 7 students, and to ask them questions. We hope that this will be the start of many more opportunities to prepare our graduating students for their journey into Secondary School.
