POWIIS Project

All students at POWIIS select a project each term and dedicate their Friday afternoons to meaningful community engagement.

Some students travel off-campus to participate in activities such as beach clean-ups, tree planting or supporting animal care at the SPCA. Others choose to remain on campus, contributing to initiatives like maintaining our school gardens or managing the recycling centre.

Each project is aligned with one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and is designed to make a tangible impact within the Penang community.

Students are encouraged to broaden their experiences by exploring different types of service through our three POWIIS Project pathways:

• PARTICIPATION – Make a Difference

Students contribute through hands-on, direct service
