POWIIS is building a dynamic and forward-looking STEM culture where students explore real-world problem-solving through science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

From hands-on projects such as STEM Racing, VEX IQ Robotics, and the Precious Plastic sustainability initiative, to professional workshops with experts in healthcare, radiology, physiotherapy and chemistry, students experience STEM as living, practical learning.

Leadership is also a strong focus, with KS4 and KS5 students taking active roles in planning events, contributing to the SPARKS STEM newsletter, and leading younger learners during STEM Day activities. Across all year groups, POWIIS continues to nurture curiosity, creativity and innovation that prepare students for a rapidly evolving future.
