The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award empowers POWIIS students with confidence, teamwork and adventure through service, skill-building, physical activity and unforgettable expeditions.

Model United Nations (MUN)
MUN builds students’ diplomacy, research and debating skills as they explore global issues, represent countries, and participate in conferences locally and regionally.

POWIIS nurtures innovation and curiosity with hands-on STEM, expert guidance, and student-led initiatives, preparing learners for future challenges and opportunities.
Performing Arts
Students develop confidence and creativity at POWIIS through music, drama, performances, exams, workshops, and partnerships with local and international artists.
Sports
POWIIS sport develops teamwork, leadership, resilience, and confidence, offering extensive opportunities to compete in competitions, inter-school fixtures, and personal growth experiences.
World’s Scholars Cup
POWIIS hosts and participates in WSC, helping students excel in critical thinking, debating, writing, and multidisciplinary academic challenges locally and globally.
Soft Skills (MIDP)
Recognised for soft skills excellence, POWIIS offers debating, public speaking, and competitions, fostering confidence, creativity, and effective communication in students.
